So my cello has been delayed but I will hopefully get it next week, hopefully early enough to be able to try it out and decide if it's the right one for me... I can't wait!
So, have you received the Scott Cao yet? I'm eagerly awaiting your review. I recently bought a cello as well & am teaching myself to play - I'm wondering if I should have gone with a 7/8 size as well... ~l
Oooh, sorry for the delay in getting back, I wasn't aware of your comment until now. It's a novice opinion, but I love my cello. My teacher said it's definitely a good one, and I've gotten good comments on the tone. The tone is lovely, and after playing with a few other cellos I can definitely tell the difference. I *am* glad I got the 7/8 size, because playing the cello is such an intensely physical experience and I can tell that even a few inches in size would make it substantially more difficult. Good luck!
